Kidney Health Coach® (KHC)

Become a Kidney Health Coach

The American Kidney Fund's (AKF) Kidney Health Coach (KHC) program is a community health education initiative designed to help prevent chronic kidney disease (CKD) and slow its progression to kidney failure. The program trains community members and health care professionals to become coaches, equipping them with the knowledge and resources to raise awareness about kidney health and CKD prevention. Coaches share kidney health information through educational activities tailored to the unique needs of their communities.

To become a Kidney Health Coach, you must successfully complete all components of the online training course. Upon completion, you will receive a certificate of completion. Continuing education (CE) credits are available for eligible health professionals.
